Geeky Safety Vests

Hello Everyone:

Today near Round Hill there was a bicyclist traveling along Route 7 Eastbound. I barely saw him/her as the road was in a good bit of shade and their clothing was not bright.

I did see the bicyclist and proceeded to slow down and got in the left lane. Hoping the vehicles behind me, one quickly approaching, would follow suit.

I tapped my brakes as warning but a vehicle began to pass me on the inside lane in front of another. Fortunately, this car slowed down and got back into the left lane just in time -- the bicyclist was in the right lane, not on the shoulder.

This is just a friendly reminder to go ahead and wear a geeky safety vest if you plan to ride on a highway like Route 7.

No amount of expertise will protect you from the unaware.
