Input Sought On County Energy Plan

Loudoun's residents and businesses are invited to learn more about the Board of Supervisors' proposed county energy plan during a series of meetings next week.

The Energy Plan is being developed in partnership with the Northern Virginia Regional Commission and will propose goals to address both the supply and use of energy needed to support the county's attractiveness, overall competitiveness, livability and environmental performance.

The board is seeking to develop a community-wide, coordinated commitment to achieve shared goals over the next 20 years. -- Leesburg Today

Please attend one of these public input sessions and encourage the development of safe and accessible bicycle and pedestrian transportation routes (as well as more transit options) as a way "to support the county's attractiveness, overall competitiveness, livability and environmental performance."
