Fionnuala Quinn of Fairfax Advocates for Better Bicycling (FABB) will conduct a FREE workshop designed to assist those who would like to play a constructive role and make suggestions for change during the design of new road facilities in Virginia. Learn how to engage with the public-hearing process and make the type of comments that can bring change.

What the project is about:

Loudoun's residents and businesses are invited to learn more about the Board of Supervisors' proposed county energy plan during a series of meetings next week.

The Energy Plan is being developed in partnership with the Northern Virginia Regional Commission and will propose goals to address both the supply and use of energy needed to support the county's attractiveness, overall competitiveness, livability and environmental performance.

The board is seeking to develop a community-wide, coordinated commitment to achieve shared goals over the next 20 years. -- Leesburg Today
