VDOT will hold an open house and public input on the Lovettsville shared-use trail on Wednesday, April 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Lovettsville Elementary School, 49 South Loudoun Street, Lovettsville, VA 20180.  Plan to come out to view displays and learn about the project.  VDOT staff will be available to answer questions.

One of the more frustrating aspects of cycling in an urban environment is not being able to trigger a signal and being stranded at an intersection. There you are, riding happily along, when you come to a red light and — after an entire signal cycle — you get the sinking feeling that the light is ignoring you.
