BikeLoudoun is pleased to announce The Bicycling Advocate's Engineering Workshop, presented by Fionnuala Quinn.

Thursday evening, November 5th, 6:00-8:30 pm
Cascades Library Sterling, Virginia

This workshop is designed to assist those who would like to play a constructive role and make suggestions for change during the design of new road facilities in Virginia.

One of the most effective ways to fix future problems for bicycling may be to learn how to engage with the public hearing process and make the type of comments that can bring change.

This workshop will provide step-by-step suggestions for looking at the design plans and coaching in the issues that are of concern when trying to advocate for better facilities for bicycles.

The workshop will be conducted by Fionnuala Quinn, a civil engineer and an active member of the bicycling advocacy group, Fairfax Advocates for Better Bicycling.
